This beautiful Edwardian trilogy engagement ring has the most glorious Old European Cut Diamonds which taper from the largest stone in the centre. Each of the three Diamonds are claw set in a low basket setting. The band has a lovely and tactile, soft knife edge profile.
Made in 18ct Gold and with a Platinum setting to the Diamonds. Stamped 18ct to the band. With the makers mark B.H.J for Barnet Henry Joseph. B.H. Joseph & Co were manufacturing jewellers based in Birmingham, trading from 1865-1929. From 1878 B.H. Jospeh & Co opened showrooms in London and were said to be one of the largest jewellery houses in the trade. The band is also stamped with Patent Numbers.
The central Old European Cut Diamond has been calculated in the setting and is estimated to weigh 0.44 Carat. VS2 Clarity and H Colour. The two outer Diamonds have been calculated in the setting and are estimated to weigh 0.21 Carat and 0.22 Carat. VS2 Clarity and H Colour. Total Carat weight estimated at 0.87 Carat. The Diamonds are wonderfully clear and bright and have lots of fire and brilliance.
